So continuing with Bearer CLI, I read on how to configure the scan with different set of commands. There are variety of options present – scanner types, ignoring specific findings or rules, changing output format, generating yml, serif, html, json.

The contents present in the raw format of the scan results, i.e as shown in the terminal contains references to rules, community and documentation. Whereas the html format of the scan results although nicely formatted have these things missing.

The fix is probably updating secret_detection.yml file with necessary changes as far as I can understand from my analysis. Opened a new issue: https://github.com/Bearer/bearer/issues/1520 to know if there is a need to add these links to maintain uniformity all over the output results.

Documentation really helps to know how a tool works. What’s the flow, contents associated and various keywords associated with the project.
